Detailed Itinerary - Day by Day:

Day 1: Fly from Arusha to Ruaha, afternoon game drive (D)

Fly from Arusha to Ruaha, arriving in time for an afternoon game drive.

Upon arrival, settle into your own private “Banda” or rock chalet at the Ruaha River Lodge. There will be time to experience your first game drive today. Game drives are done in unique open vehicles that allow for 360 viewing of the area’s impressive wildlife.

During your stay, be sure to visit the elevated bar and watch spectacular sunset over the the river below. Fall asleep with the fresh night air gently blowing through the screened windows and perhaps even wake to an elephant outside your door the next morning.
