Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

Your safari begins in Arusha with a morning departure towards Lake Manyara National Park.

After arriving at the park, begin your game drive through a landscape of groundwater forests, open grasslands, woodland and the lake itself.

Lake Manyara is known for its varied wildlife and birdlife. During the game drive, you may see elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, warthogs, baboons and different species of birds. With luck, you may also spot lions resting in the trees.

After the game drive, leave the park and continue to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Manyara Area to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

The journey takes you through the highlands towards the crater, with opportunities to stop and enjoy the scenery along the way.

Upon arrival at Ngorongoro, prepare for one of Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife experiences.

Descend into the crater for a game drive across the crater floor. The area supports a high concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and a variety of bird species. With luck, you may also have the opportunity to see the endangered black rhinoceros.

Enjoy a picnic lunch during the day’s exploration before continuing with the game drive.

After the crater experience, ascend to the crater rim and return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Area to Arusha

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Arusha.

Depending on your departure schedule, there may be an opportunity for a short stop along the way to enjoy the scenery or visit a local community.

Your safari ends in Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or another agreed location.
